張紀元，華南理工大學副教授。博士畢業于澳大利亞墨爾本大學，曾在比利時荷語魯汶大學從事博士后研究。主要研究領域為：隨機矩陣理論、自由概率論等。相關科研成果發表在Adv Math、AiHP(Prob & Stat)、JMVA、Construct Approx等國際期刊。

報告摘要：

I will introduce some recent developments in the Markov-Krein correspondence. This is a defining identity for probability measures, which plays a central role in many problems around random matrix theory, including high-temperature convolution, high-temperature beta ensemble and finite free convolution.
