李思泰，廈門大學數學科學學院副教授。2010年獲南開大學數學學士學位，2018年于美國State University of New York at Buffalo取得數學博士學位，2019-2021年在University of Michigan做博士后工作。長期從事非線性可積系統的研究，在Commun. Pure Appl. Math.，Commun. Math. Phys.，SIAM Rev.等雜志發表多篇學術論文，主持國家自然科學基金項目1項。
報告摘要：
We study the Cauchy problem for the Maxwell-Bloch equations (MBEs) of lightmatter interaction via asymptotics. We first clarify some features in which physically motivated initial/boundary conditions are satisfied. Pure soliton solutions and their dynamics are studied as well. This is joint work with Peter D. Miller.
